When it comes to choosing micronutrients, there is no shortage of suppliers. There are many versions of a 9% chelated zinc, 6% chelated manganese, etc. However, we have seen many nutrients applied to corn and soybeans with no response in tissue test values or yield. We have also seen cheaper nutrients out-perform more expensive nutrients, and vice versa.
Our advice is once again to VERIFY that your nutrients are getting into the plant and going towards yield. Price is one factor, but spending more doesn't always correlate with the value, and saving a couple dollars ultimately can lose you a lot of money if the competitors product didn't do its job.
In our opinion, consistency and proven effectiveness are vital in choosing the right product from the right manufacturer.
This is why we proudly support and promote Brandt, an industry leader in foliar micronutrient technology. https://brandt.co/
